It's no secret that Costa Rica is my favorite country that I've visited so far. The main thing that I loved about Costa Rica was being surrounded by so much nature! The variety of different plants and wildlife that we saw at the biological station alone was incredible and we were able to see even more in Manuel Antonio. Today, I wanted to share some of the amazing sights we saw and were able to capture in Costa Rica, including a Toucan, which was way harder to spot than you'd think.

Travel Tuesday: Ziplining in Costa Rica
Our last day in Costa Rica after a week of work was spent on the beach and zip lining!
This company was so great! The guides were very nice and very helpful and all of them spoke pretty good English. So, if you are ever in the area of Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, look this place up!

Zip lining through the rainforest was one of the coolest experiences. We saw all kinds of different animals such as monkeys, sloths and toucans just from Zip-lining. I had such a great experience that Josh and I booked a Zip-Lining excursion for our Honeymoon!

Travel Tuesday: Manuel Antonio National Park
In 2009, I went on an Alternative Spring Break Trip with James Madison University to Las Cruces, Costa Rica (more later). We worked all week and used the last day and night to have fun. We drove to Manuel Antonio and got a hostel almost right on the beach! We went to the beach where I got the most God Awful sunburn I have ever had, a club where we got to do some Latin dancing, and zip lining!
Here are a few photos of Manuel Antonio (minus the Zip Line, that gets its own post).
